Group Agility Classes for Every Level!

Agility for Beginners -- Foundation Skills
(Combined with DogStar Tweeners)

This class is an introduction to the foundation skills needed to have fun with your dog in the sport of agility. The class will include an introduction to agility obstacles and basic handling maneuvers in a safe and fun manner, while also placing an emphasis on skills like targeting, focus and attention, restrained recalls, toy/play drive and more. This class is suitable for teams brand new to agility and dog training or teams that have some training experience already.

Maximum of six teams per class. Classes run in six week sessions.

DogStar Tweeners -- Intermediate/Novice Agility Skills
(Combined with Agility For Beginners -- Foundation Skills)

This class is for dogs and handlers that have a basic knowledge of agility handling and obstacle performance, and are now working on the skills necessary to head to the next level. The focus of this class will be to build on your team’s current agility skills, perfecting obstacle performance, and putting handling skills together into small courses, sequences and drills.

Competition Handling and Skills
- outdoors on securely-fenced sand arena at DogStar Farm

This class is for dogs training at the Open/Advanced level on up through Masters level. There will be coursework, sequences and drills to challenge every team. Each week there will be a class theme/challenge. Teams will be working at their particular level on a given skill, drill, coursework or sequencing. Proof your dog’s obstacle skills and take your handling to the next level.


**Dogs must be competent on all agility obstacles including weave poles and be prepared to run sequences and courses of ten obstacles or more.

Coursework and Training with Bridget
This class will be part coursework and part training session. The goal is to have an International style course set up each week. Your first run will be “trial-like” with feedback from Bridget. Consecutive timed rotations will be “training sessions”, breaking things down, proofing, or if you were perfect running something different. All with feedback from Bridget if desired. Bridget will also be working with one of her dogs in the class. This class will be geared towards big, fast, challenging courses from European judges or others with that “flare”.

DogStar's Fun & Games for Dogs and Their People

Does your dog have excess energy to burn even when you’re ready to call it a day? Think you and your pup might enjoy doing a dog sport together but aren’t sure where to get started? Our “Fun & Games” class is designed to help you tire out your active dog’s body *and* brain, while also giving you both a taste of a lot of the different dog sports/activities available today. Each week you’ll spend time on a different activity, agility, scent work, trick training, rally, disc, lure coursing, and more. The best part is that your dog will be learning good behavior at each class while also having fun trying new things.


This class is for *all* dogs, old, young, big and small! Activities will be adjusted to your dog's particular level and physical abilities.

Rising Stars! - Sport Dog Foundations

If you are an experienced agility person you already know how important it is to lay a solid foundation, by building skills and understanding. So if you have a young pup, this is the right place! Recalls, relationship, coordination, body awareness, brain games, verbals, connection, commitment, retrieves, targeting, focus and attention, toys and play, speed, and much more!
